available in the market motivated Metalgráfica
Renner to develop the Security Cover (Tampa Security®).
The product, of exclusive technology, offers security,
practicality and versatility. Its pulling ring and its
flexible membrane – made of plastic, instead of
metal – facilitate opening the lid. The exclusive
technology reduces injury risk and the oxidation of sharp
edges, common in similar products.
The Security Cover Can may be used with liquid, dry or
powder products, like chocolate milk mix, nutritional
supplements, dried milk, instant coffee, cappuccino, granulate,
snacks, juice, seeds, cereal and others.
Since it is easy to handle, even children are able to
open cans with this cover. All these benefits do not alter
the protection of contents, which is assured by a plastic
outer lid with perfect sealing.
Both the inner and the outer lid come in colors or transparent
with relief printing. The product is offered with a diameter
of 73 or 99 mm and may be seamed with steel, plastic,
cardboard and other materials.
In 2001, with the Security Cover, Metalgráfica
received the Prêmio Brasileiro de Embalagem Embanews
(Brazilian Prize for Packages Embanews) in the category
Technology and Quality.
